For the past few weeks we have been busy at work learning a little bit about our "roots". Thank you to ALL our families for helping us with our homework, and talking to us about our family's countries and nations. With the information we got from home and our research on "culturegrams" using the iPad, we gathered a lot of interesting information about our countries. The last two weeks we have been writing and writing and writing! Once we edited our work we were ready for the next step...putting our writing together! Here are a few pictures of us preparing our posters!

| Then, we cut out our work. The border made a nice frame for our writing and drawings! |

| Some of us went on line to find some "food" pictures to add to our posters. We learned to search for images, copy and paste an image, and make it the right size! There were many steps to remember! |

It is coming all together!
The projects look beautiful AND we are all so proud of our work!! We can't wait to share it with everyone at our School's Multicultural Fair which is coming up at the end of this month! Make sure you come to the gym to see our work on display. There will be hundreds of other students' work up to read too. Keep your eyes open for the notice about when this event will be!
