We just finished reading the story Charlotte's Web and we all fell in love with Wilbur - "Some Pig"!
AND, in math we are learning about money. WELL... where do we save our money? In a piggy bank!!
So we are making paper mache piggy banks!!! It is a VERY messy art project, but it sure is FUN!

| Here we go!! Stick your paper strips in the paste. Wipe off the extra paste and stick it on your balloon. Be VERY CAREFUL! We don't want our Pigs to POP!! |

| We needed to do two layers of paper and paste. It was tricky wrapping the strips around the legs and snout! |

| Almost done! The paste on our hands (and clothes!) was drying and getting HARD! |

| The pigs are ready to sit and dry! It will take a good week for them to dry enough before we pop the balloons! Then we can paint them and name them! |
